CanGoDeep and the Decade of Ocean Sciences
The UNESCO supports the development of the CanGoDeep challenge, so the activity will be part of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Sciences for Sustainable Development (2021-2030). This initiative arises to counteract the deterioration that the oceans are suffering and to bring together people interested in this area to be able to provide sustainable development to the ocean.
The marine world is the great support of our planet's ecosystem, since it stabilizes the climate and promotes well-being for the entire ecosystem, but at this time a large part of the ocean is suffering great changes and losses of ecosystems, and their benefits.
With the CanGoDeep challenge we seek to create greater awareness among adolescents who are in training, since they have the power to do everything possible to counteract this situation in the future.
